The chief aim of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is to test the knowledge, skills, and proficiency of medical students who have pursued their MBBS degree from other countries. The exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) — the medical board in India. Any student who has obtained an MBBS degree from abroad and wants to practice or pursue a PG in their choice of subspeciality or discipline in India needs to crack the FMGE exam. Admission process
Online applications were invited by the NBE from the 31st May 2023 and the registration got closed on the 20th June 2023. The FMGE 2023 exam date is 30th July 2023.
Eligibility criteria for the FMGE 2023 exam
